Pet Peeves

I have a lot of pet peeves. They include people saying good instead of well and people cutting off words like “fastin” and “runnin.” Obviously I have more but those are the major ones. People just sound uneducated when they do things like this. The entire country would come across as much more intelligent to the rest of the world if they just did the small things, like use just a little bit better grammar.
Pregnancy

My math teacher is pregnant. This means that her desk is full of here-comes-baby things including books, prenatal vitamins and other random supplies. Babies are wonderful but not when you’re teacher is having one. She leaves in the middle of the semester and leaves you with a sub that most of the time doesn’t know what they’re doing. Hopefully you are able to teach yourself.
Easy

Wouldn’t it be nice if the answer to anything you wanted was a click away? Even easier than looking it up. If every question had its own website, whatcauseshairloss.org, whatsthecapitalofwashington.com. It would make anything you needed to know even easier than using google or wikipedia. Every report for school would be made 10 times easier. The world would be made an easier place. Get to work computer website guys!
Bubble Boy

There was a movie a while ago called Bubble Boy. It was a boy with severe allergies, not the kind where you need special allergy bedding, but an allergy to the entire world. He had to live in a bubble because he would die if exposed to the rest of the world. The movie followed him through his life journey and of course through his love life.
Names

New technology has created new crazy names. From the names of cars going from Tahoe or Cougar to jumbles of numbers or the names of computers or other electronics to Symbol LS2208. Companies are making it harder and harder for us to talk about things we like. How are we supposed to say we like a new device if we can’t even remember all the numbers involved or even how to pronounce the name!
Commercials

There was a commercial on tv the other day for rheumatoid arthritis treatments. The commercial described a new treatment in which you inject something once a month. However, one of the side effects was the possibility of obtaining cancer. I feel like that is kind of an outrageous side effect for arthritis. I would probably rather arthritis than cancer….

My mom was making dinner the other night, however, we ended up having take out instead. She was making spaghetti for my whole family. After she had everything all cooked she started walking towards the table. Then my dog ran by barking at something. Of course she knocked my mom down and of course the spaghetti spilled all over the floor tiles. Chinese Food here we come.

You can go by yourself bring a friend or even make it a date. The mall is just a place where you can find hours upon hours of entertainment.
Along Came Polly

The movie Along Came Polly was on the other day. In the movie the main character is a “risk assess-er” and determines life insurance rates. However, Polly comes and is in all ways a risk that should not be “insured.” However, Ben Stiller’s character falls in love with her and they live happily ever after. This movie is great because it shows that being perfect is not the best thing sometimes risks are the only way to reap the rewards.
School

I was taking a class that was completely pointless this year. It was a marketing class but it was mainly for freshmen. All we learned was the definition of marketing, how to go into an interview, then the types of business insurance. I feel like the class was telling me to go ahead and get a job, but as soon as you do best bet is that you are going to be sued so get some insurance.
