Medical School

Many of the seniors at my school plan on going to medical school. They are all extremely stressed out trying to get applications out and keep up with their current school work. I know that applying to medical school is extremely stressful but I keep thinking of the graduates looking at medical job listing. That must be stressful, trying to make sure you have an actual job!

Big vs Small Colleges

I love going to a small college, but over the weekend I got a taste of what a big university feels like. We played a big university and got to see the difference. There were 20x more fans and that was just the start. The training room was awesome. They had massage tables everywhere and a huge ice bath (actually it was more of a pool). That would be the only cool part of a big university, much more resources to draw form to get really cool stuff!!

Computers

So today there seems to be a lot of problems in college. Apparently half the people in my dorm’s computers are no longer working, or at least the internet isn’t working. Of course this wouldn’t be a big deal if you didn’t have a lot of work to do, but of course it’s college so everyone has a ton of work to do! The nickname of the day is Cyber Monday, because all things cyber seem to have stopped functioning, always a great way to start the week!

College

Being in college is obviously awesome, but I do miss my friends from high school. I know it is much easier to stay in touch now than back in the day but face to face contact is still important. Thats why things that you can see peoples faces are the best. Things like skype for just normal talking or a video card instead of a normal card. These things allow the other person to actually see you!

Vacation

Now that I am in college it is really hard to see my family. Obviously I talk on the phone with them but I feel like I have no time! That’s why vacations and breaks are going to be so important. Normally we just go to the beach for the day and call it a vacation, but now my mom is looking at Disney vacation packages! I guess being away at college makes her really miss me and want to go spend a lot of time on vacation when I am home, works for me!

Team

A girl on my team likes to create new “teams.” She has the lifting team, the cafeteria team, the contemplation club and many many others. She seems to just invite people to where ever she is so that she can create a new team/club to be on. I’m waiting for her car to break down one day so she can make the roadside assistance club.

Class

Now that classes have started we resort back to our normal ways. During class we continuously look at our Chopard watches or whatever other brand name we own until finally the professor realizes that it is time to let us go free. Then we again look at the time hoping for it to go slower as we rush to get that paper written and sent in before the due date.

As Fall Comes

As school starts and summer comes to a close we start looking toward fall. Fall is one of the best seasons. You have football games and the leaves change color, everything looks so pretty. The best part though, is the fact that it starts cooling down. You aren’t sweating all the time you can start wearing your jeans and cashmere sweaters. That is probably the best part of fall, the clothes. Sweaters and jeans look so nice when you’re walking around, especially in college. The ultimate college picture is always students in sweaters and jeans walking under trees with gold and orange leaves.

Acne…

No one likes to have acne. It’s just one of those things that almost everyone goes through but no one wants to really talk about it. A lot of people go out to lunch and will discuss certain beauty treatments they think are best, like ways to straighten hair, make up secrets etc. However, you almost never hear people at lunch discussing the best acne treatment. That is definitely a one person quest that requires a lot of time searching the internet and experimenting with different combinations.

Jeans

Who would have thought it would be so incredibly hard to find a good, nice pair of jeans. There are so many to pick from, apple bottoms, seven’s, citizen’s, I can’t even keep track of all the names. All I know know is that they are all so cute it’s really hard to choose between them all. They all have different cool designs on the back pocket and I know that if I don’t have a new pair of designer jeans, I will regret not making the purchase.
